Discover Historic Herefordshire
Herefordshire not only has an abundance of historic sites to visit it also has some beautiful countryside to enjoy, but you won’t have to choose between the two as this weekend combines both.
We will begin with an exclusive tour of Hereford Cathedral followed by a visit to the ancient market town of Ledbury including the magnificent seventeenth-century Market Hall and a rare painted room.
The county has some wonderful churches and we will visit the church at Much Marcle and at Kempley both the old church with its rare wall paintings and the new arts and crafts church. Goodrich Castle , which boasts one of the most complete sets of medieval domestic buildings surviving in any English castle, is also included in the itinerary. We will also visit the black and white villages of Woebley, Eardisland & Eardsley.
