Watercolour image of Lincoln Cathedral's Wren LibraryCome to Lincoln and be inspired. Spend a weekend learning how to use watercolours to capture the essence of historic buildings.

With the help of an expert tutor this course will explore the skills and methods needed to create beautiful paintings of historic buildings. The weekend will focus on practical skills through tutored workshops in the magnificent setting of historic Lincoln.

Friday evening commences with a wine reception and talk on watercolour painting. Saturday and Sunday will be spent sketching and painting, with a tutor guided walk through the historic city in the evening.

You will leave the weekend with at least one painting that you have completed during the course.

All the basic equipment will be supplied and watercolour paper can be bought at cost. Some experience is desirable; please contact us for further information.

The cost of this weekend break is from £235, inclusive of accommodation.
