Geophysics is a non-destructive means for archaeologists to look beneath the surface of a site. This is a practical day that offers an introduction to geophysics and then an opportunity to have a go at using geophysics equipment to survey an archaeological site.

World Archaeology Series 1: The Archaeology of Egypt
Saturday 17 May 2008Explore the life and culture of the Ancient Egyptians. We will look at the major archaeological sites. This introductory course will also discuss the art and religion of the people who created such enigmatic and long lasting monuments.

All courses cost £35 per person and include lunch, refreshments, course pack, any materials and visits. There is a discount for booking more than one course in advance.
