TAKE OFF on a Dambusters mission with us. Experience the wartime world of heroic aircrews who gave Lincolnshire its Bomber County nickname and get to climb on board one of only three working Lancaster bombers in the world.

During our two-day break you will stay at the beautiful Petwood hotel – once the officers mess for 617 Squadron led by Wing Commander Guy Gibson. Visits include RAF Scampton, home of the Dambusters and now the Red Arrows; RAF Coningsby to see the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight’s Lancaster, Spitfires and Hurricanes; Metheringham Airfield Museum for a remarkable VC story and RAF Digby, for a guided tour of its WW2 Ops room.

The highlight is the second day with a visit to Lancaster Just Jane at East Kirkby. We have arranged a unique private tour. You will board the aircraft and sit in all of the crew positions– from Tail End Charlie to pilot where an expert will show you how to use the controls.
